EVER WONDER IF IT'S POSSIBLE TO BE AN EFFECTIVE TEACHER WITHOUT HAVING A NEVERENDING TO-DO LIST?
You've come to the right place.
HEY THERE,
I'm Stephanie!
I'M A CLASSROOM TEACHER, MENTOR, PODCASTER, AND FOUNDER OF THE TEACHER TIME UNIVERSITY.
When I started teaching, I was eager to peel open my brand new read-alouds, have meaningful discussions with my littles, and design creative lessons that my students would remember for years to come.
But it didn’t take long for all the behind-the-scenes stuff to let the overwhelm start creeping in…you know, like figuring out how to… 👉🏼 write lesson plans, 👉🏼 prep materials, 👉🏼 grade assignments, and 👉🏼 communicate with parents…
…all during my short ⏰ 30-minute prep time. 😳
So, my solution was to bring work home after school and even work on the weekends, so that I could be present with my students during the day and prepared for the week.
Maybe like me, you’ve felt like there just isn’t enough time during school hours for you to do everything that’s on your plate.
You feel stuck in this never-ending cycle of taking work home, so you can feel prepared for the next day. Maybe leaving work at work is more of an exception, rather than the norm. Or maybe you opt to stay late at school to get it all done and when you’re not working, you’re definitely still thinking about it. It wasn’t until I took my second teaching job in Virginia that I realized something had to change if teaching was going to be sustainable for me. So instead of googling “What else can teachers do…” I started learning and strategizing how to manage my time so that I could have my dream job AND the life I wanted outside of school.
After setting my work hours and creating schedules and systems to streamline my workflow, I started consistently leaving school at 3 PM—prepped and ready for the week ahead.
Since then, I’ve made it my mission to help teachers like you become the present, organized educators they’ve always wanted to be.
Through my programs and resources, I’ve helped thousands of educators design systems that simplified their workload, so they enjoy their weekends feeling confident and guilt-free.
Whether you’re a first-year teacher and need some tools to find your flow, or you’ve been teaching for a while and need some resources to hit refresh, I’ve got you covered, teacher friend! You deserve to find fulfillment in a career that seriously lights you up! Ready to find out what that could look like for you?
